British royal family news reveals that when Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex hollers back at the palace that she knows a “calculated smear campaign” when she sees one—is she admitting first hand experience and knowledge?
It is the latest in the War of the Royals, set to culminate on March 7 on when Meghan and her husband Harry spill all about the royal family on Queen Oprah Winfrey’s couch.
Is it coincidence that days before the salacious tell-all that Meghan Markle is accused of bullying palace staff? For the record, she is denying accusations of bullying during her time as a working member of the royal family.
Royal Family News – Is Meghan Markle A Bully?
Britain’s The Times has alleged that Markle’s mistreatment of staff led to a written complaint in October 2018 by the couple’s former communications secretary. The complaint alleges that Markle, “drove two personal assistants out of the household and undermined the confidence of a third staff member.”
The complaint details that Meghan Thee Duchess bullied multiple palace staffers and that at least one was reduced to tears by her “unacceptable” behavior.

Markle’s PR team denied the veracity of the claims to The Times, and took umbrage at the timing of the article.

This is how Markle’s PR docs just spun her situation: “Let’s just call this what it is — a calculated smear campaign based on misleading and harmful misinformation.”
“We are disappointed to see this defamatory portrayal of the Duchess of Sussex given credibility by a media outlet. It’s no coincidence that distorted several-year-old accusations aimed at undermining the duchess are being briefed to the British media shortly before she and the duke are due to speak openly and honestly about their experience of recent years.”

The PR person then told People, Markle is, “saddened by this latest attack on her character,” especially as “someone who has been the target of bullying herself and is deeply committed to supporting those who have experienced pain and trauma.
Royal Family News – Prince Harry Is Married To Meghan Markle
Markle and Harry’s interview with Oprah airs on March 7 and CBS is already running commercials touting the tell-all in which “no subjects are off-limits.”
The timing could not be worse as 99-year old Prince Philip is in the hospital and ailing, with his grandson presumably set to talk about him.
