British royal family news shows that Meghan Markle, who likes to be called the Duchess of Sussex, has her eyes on the political prize according to royal watchers. Is she chomping at the bit to replace California Senator Dianne Feinstein?
Meghan Has Political Aspirations?
Meghan Markle and her house husband Prince Harry have been accused of interfering in politics using their fancy pants titles to gain attention in a land where royalty has not been in vogue for hundreds of years. Shouldn’t someone give them the Cliff’s Notes for the American Revolution before they embarrass themselves any further?
They have written and sent cringe letters to politicians about paid family leave, lectured the masses about environmental protection, and demanded equitable vaccine access form politicians. No one is listening. Everyone is laughing, so there’s that—comedic relief at a time when the world sorely needs a laugh.
Are The Markle’s For Real?
Are the thirsty pair who ditched the monarchy for more money in America squawking about these issues as part of a bid to help Meghan appear as a viable political candidate some day? After all she has only been a game show hostess and cable actress—she has zero cred on anything other than telling fibs, hence her nickname Princess Pinocchio.
Royal Family News – Is Meghan Eyeing An Empty Political Seat?
According to Richard Johnson, a professor at Queen Mary University, there’s a congressional seat Meghan might be watching like a hawk, that of 88-year old Dianne Feinstein, a California Democrat. He told Express UK, “If she wanted to follow this track of high profile celebrities leapfrogging to the top office, that senate seat would be a very attractive one for her.

“There is some record of celebrity politicians doing pretty well in the U.S.,” he said referring no doubt to Ronald Reagan (actor turned California governor turned U.S. President) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (actor turned California governor).
Johnson continued, ““The thing [to] say is that it’s extremely expensive to run for office in California. California is a state of nearly 40 million people. It’s bigger than the whole population of Canada.”
Meghan may have cable show money, but Harry has monarchy money. As he notes, “she’s probably got a lot of resources behind her and people who could support her … also in California, one of the big challenges is the expense of getting your name out there, because of the various very expensive media markets. Well, she doesn’t have to worry about that because she’s so well known.”
Yes, but is being well known as Princess Pinocchio really going to help her lofty ambitions?

Didn't the US have a war against the UK for their independence? So how does that work then if you want to flaunt your UK title and by that title your association to the royal family? Seems like wanting your cake and eating it too. If Mr and Mrs Markle-Windsor dropped their titles etc then I could see not such a political issue but seriously, I can't help but think what George Washington woyld make of this!
