There’s also something called the public record, and it reveals that the Duchess of Sussex, “has applied to reactivate ‘The Tig’ trademark name – a move likely to raise hope among her fans that she might one day consider bringing her blog back to life.” Will wonders never cease?
Will Meghan Markle Revive Her Blog?
According to the Daily Mail, “Publicly available records in America show Los Angeles lawyer Marjorie Witter Norman filed a new application to trademark the name in July last year.” Meghan launched the site in 2014 when she was still earning a living as a cable actress in Suits. She reportedly named the site after her favorite Tignanello wine.
Trigger alert: here are Meghan’s own words about wine life: “It was an ah-ha moment at its finest. For me it became a ‘Tig’ moment – a moment of getting it.”
Meghan Markle Has Tig Moments
“Norman filed the trademark application under a Delaware-based holding company called Frim Fram Inc, which links back to the Duchess’s business manager Andrew Meyer.” The Mail reported last week that the thirsty couple have gone on an incorporation spree not in California where they live, but in Delaware where the tax laws are “opaque.”
Meghan used the Tig website to wax poetic on, “feminism to her passion for philanthropy. Meghan often praised her mother Doria Ragland a yoga therapist who was the only member of her family at her wedding, and father Thomas Markle, from whom she remains estranged.” Again, things changed drastically after she met and married Prince Harry.
In an post she titled ‘The birthday suit’, “she discussed body confidence with a photo of herself appearing to pose nude.”
Will The World Embrace The Tig?
The comments regarding news of Meghan possibly relaunching The Tig were priceless: “Good Lord make it stop,” wrote one, and another noted, “Must be really low on funds doing a blog. What’s next a reality show?”

I was a fan of the tig. The blog was amazing, and you can tell she put thought into what she wrote. It’s rude to only include negative comments from people who never bothered to read the blog it’s unprofessional and rather a bit sad.
