Royal Family News: Meghan Markle Proclaimed To Be “America’s Princess” But Was Mistreated In The UK

Royal Family news reveals Trisha Goddard’s statements about Meghan Markle in the ITV documentary Harry and Meghan: The Week That Shook The Royals are continuing to rock the media.  And, the shockwaves from Meghan and Harry’s infamous Oprah interview are still being felt.

Goddard also called Meghan Markle, “America’s princess,” and claimed that she was deemed, “not good enough,” for the Royal Family.

Her comments were made after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex told Oprah Winfrey they experienced neglect and racism from his family members and staff.

In response Buckingham Palace issued a rare statement on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen to say she was “saddened” and the family did not know the extent of how unhappy Harry and Meghan had been.

The statement added that, “recollections” of what occurred “may vary.”

But according to Goddard, “It’s the establishment, we’re talking about systemic and institutionalized racism, not whether one person said something inappropriate, it’s a much bigger subject than that.”

ITV’s Royal Editor Chris Ship said that Duke of Sussex likely damaged the monarchy and soiled Britain’s reputation overseas.

Goddard said, “This is not just racism but snobbishness, the Americans think they had their princess, went overseas and married a prince, it’s that fairy tale thing, and she wasn’t good enough for them.”

“The Queen seems to still be, of all of them, to have come out better than all of them as it’s that grandmother thing and plus the statement came from her.”

She added, “Granny was the one who was doing all the mending. The rest of the Royal Family are like, why are they all so silent? Why is his dad so quiet?”

Royal Family News – The Were Attacked By Harry And Meghan

On Thursday, Prince William was the first senior royal to verbally respond to the list of allegations made by Harry and Meghan. A Sky News journalist shouted a question to him while he was at a royal event and he responded saying that the royals were, “very much not a racist family.”

William said he had not spoken to Harry about the TV show.

The prince’s comments were praised by insiders, who said the William did, “very well given the emotion and enormity of it all.”
