British royal family news reveals that even after drop-kicking the Royal Family, Meghan Markle has insisted on having others refer to her as the Duchess of Sussex. She calls herself this lofty title on all platforms instead of her given name Rachel Meghan Markle.

It’s been over a year since she fled the palace and now insiders are whispering that Meghan Thee Duchess is more determined than ever to retain her royal title while doing none of the expected royal duties.

Meghan and Harry stunned the world in January 2020 by humiliating his family with the bombshell that they were absconding from the country for a life of “financial freedom.”
They did not want to do the work of royals but love being styled as a Duke and Duchess. Maybe this is a case of putting lipstick on a pig?

Meghan stubbornly refers to herself as The Duchess of Sussex on all platforms, recently writing a book (claimed to be plagiarized) under that name.

Royal Family News – Rachel Meghan Markle Wants A Title

A source close to the former B-list actress told Heat magazine that Meghan is worried she will lose her title after Harry’s incessant trashing of his family.

“She’s told Harry that they need to tone down the attacks on the royal family, she’s afraid they’ll take away their royal titles, which would be a PR disaster,” spilled the source. “Right now, she’s inundated with offers, and that’s in part to being a Duchess.”

If this is true doesn’t it speak volumes about her character—she only wants to be nice to his family so she can remain a Duchess?

Meghan Is A Duchess In Name Only?

Harry kept up his “truth bombs” about his family in a jaw-dropping Oprah Winfrey documentary The Me You Can’t See. Prior to this, the two collaborated on a CBS special in which he rocked the world with petulant claims about being denied the perks of his entitled and privileged lifestyle.

Weeks after Megxit was announced in January 2020, Buckingham Palace issued a statement confirming that Harry and Meghan would no longer use the titles His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness but were allowed to use the titles of Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Lady Colin Campbell recently launched a petition at Change.org requesting that the thirsty pair stop using these titles in all of their cash grabs.
