British royal family news reveals that one royal expert claims that one of Prince Charles’ daughters-in-law asked for a personal audience with the king, just hours after Queen Elizabeth was laid to rest. Who would be likely to do such a thing?

However the Daily Mail throws cold water on the notion of a restricted meet up between Meghan and Prince Charles as his choice to take off for a period of reflection at Balmoral today makes it unlikely.

On Tuesday, the day after his mother’s state funeral, Charles and his wife went to the estate where Her Majesty drew her final breath, her beloved Balmoral residence. For Charles’ part, he mentioned the couple by name in his first address, saying how much he loved them.
