British royal family news shows that Meghan Markle’s estranged father could be in a life or death situation in a California hospital and the world is watching to see what his self-proclaimed philanthropist daughter does next. Will she do the right thing and make up with the now elderly father who raised her or will she continue to snub him even as he and the rest of her family plead for closure? Meghan demands that everyone refer to her as the Duchess of Sussex due to her marrying Prince Harry and being given the title as a gift. But for the last two years her behavior toward her family and especially her father has been anything but regal. In a shocking tell-all 90 minute interview she sat opposite Oprah Winfrey and ranted about her dad not meeting her expectations—she has publicly slammed him for making her eat dinner at a restaurant she considered beneath her standards.

This is what we are dealing with, a woman who so severely overestimated her talent and ability that this month Netflix cancelled her cartoon show after she failed to work on it for two years.

Yesterday Thomas was taken to a hospital in Chula Vista, a short drive from her California mansion, “after suffering a suspected major stroke,” according to the Daily Mail.

Royal Family News – Will Meghan Do The Right Thing?

In an ironic twist, Thomas Markle, “was struck down, losing his speech, a week before he had been due to fly to London for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.”

It is not currently known what if anything Meghan plans to do next, whether she will even visit him or respect his stated wish to finally meet her children, a visit she has denied him.

Thomas is a former TV lighting director who worked at one time on the ABC soap General Hospital, the same show Meghan was given her first acting break.

Thomas was earlier admitted to a hospital in Tijuana, Mexico, where he lives as a retiree. Pictures showed him with an oxygen mask on his face, surrounded by paramedics. TMZ posted a video of him prone on a stretcher, “with a pale face and one hand on his chest.”

Thomas’ other daughter Samantha told MailOnline, ‘My father is recovering in hospital. We ask for privacy for the family, for his health and wellbeing. He just needs peace and rest. Godspeed. We are praying. He just needs some rest.” It’s been reported that his blood pressure was high in the recent days.

Thomas had to miss Meghan’s wedding to Harry in 2018, “after suffering a heart attack,” and it’s been reported that she was upset at his inability to fly due to his medical condition.

MailOnline journalist Dan Wootton wrote that Thomas, “was due in London next week and was to have been a guest on TV during coverage of the jubilee celebrations. The trip would have fulfilled his ‘long-held wish to visit Windsor Castle.’”

Meghan was pictured dressed to the nines and kissing polo players this weekend, will she do right by her dad and give him a visit and a kiss?
