British royal family news shows that no one knew Meghan Markle before her marriage to Prince Harry, a fact that got her good on her podcast today. No less than Real Housewives brain Andy Cohen was a guest and she had to remind him twice that they had met prior. Oops.

Meghan gushed on her controversial Archetypes podcast that once upon a time she was a fan of the Real Housewives TV series but ended up embarrassed when the creator could not remember twice meeting her.

The Duchess of Excess told the Real Housewives franchise executive producer Andy Cohen that she had to stop watching the show when hers became just as dramatic. The epi, thought to be the last for now, titled ‘Man-ifesting a Cultural Shift’ had Meghan doing what she does best, talk about herself.

She told Cohen she starred in Suits, recalling, “I met you before,” to which he replied, “You’re joking.” Meghan was not to be deterred, throwing Cohen under the bus by saying, “I met you twice. The first one is when Suits wasn’t even on, yet. And then when we had maybe season two or three, we were in New York.”

She further stuck the knife in saying, “I was so eager to be on your show because I was such a Housewives fan at the time and I just couldn’t get booked Andy,” to which Cohen, “squealed uncomfortably.”

Later he regained his traction and seemed to throw her shade saying, “Oh my God, if it turns out that Meghan Markle, actually expressed an interest to be on Watch What Happens Live? It is now the biggest blunder in the 13 years of the show.” As if Andy.

Royal Family News – Meghan Watched Housewives

When Cohen asked if she still watching the catty reality show she huffed, “Well, I will tell you the truth. I stopped watching the Housewives when my life had its own level of drama.”

Cohen stated that there was a rumor that Meghan would be, “on the Beverly Hills series of the franchise after she and The Duke of Sussex stepped down as senior royals and moved to the US.”

According to Daily Mail, Meghan flat out laughed and said, “that she wouldn’t appear in any TV reality TV show.” Not so fast Megs. On December 8 Netflix drops a “documentery” about Harry and Meghan, made by them, and critics are already calling it “Keeping Up With the Markles.” Boom.
