British Royal family news says now that he’s Charles in Charge, Meghan Markle wants to clear the air about a few things with him. According to new reports, the Duchess of Sussex has asked for a meeting with King Charles in order to figure out a way forward for both her and Prince Harry and the rest of the royal family, too. According to Page Six, there’s a very good chance that Meghan Markle might be trying to fix some of her wrongs in the hopes that she can make them into rights. That, or she is probably expecting the royal family to do the same. In a rather unexpected move, Meghan has requested a meeting with the newly minted King Charles before she and Prince Harry are expected to fly back home to California.

One source close to the situation put it this way, “She’d now like, before they return back to California, to have a one-to-one audience with King Charles III. That’s right, Meghan one-to-one with King Charles III. You heard correct.”

Apparently, Meghan had sent the king a formal letter in the hopes that their meeting can be “an opportunity to clear the air, put the rights from wrongs and explain some of the rationale behind what they’ve been doing over the last two years.”

The tipster added, “Now you have to admire Meghan’s self belief, whatever you think.”

And while there are a lot of people who believe that Meghan’s move is a brave one, others can’t help but wonder if King Charles will even make the time to meet with her at this point. As many royal fans know, it was Charles who had asked Prince Harry to keep Meghan behind when he was due to travel to Balmoral to see Queen Elizabeth on the day that she died. Charles didn’t think it was appropriate to have Meghan come along, as it would have made an already difficult situation more awkward for everyone involved. Needless to say, Meghan did support her husband during Queen Elizabeth’s funeral procession.
