While there’s no doubt that the two have always remained close friends, it seems like they might actually become closer as there are new reports suggesting Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are looking to move to California, too. Apparently, Eugenie and Jack have been spending a lot of time with Harry and Meghan in Montecito and are actually thinking about making their own move to the Golden State.

That’s not just because they want to get away from all of the royal drama back in Europe, but also because they wouldn’t mind getting a little close to the Sussexes. That, and their children could also grow up with their royal cousins Archie and Lilibet under the California sun. It certainly would work out perfectly for everyone, right?

As many royal fans can recall, Meghan has claimed that she was friends with Eugenie way before Prince Harry was even in the picture. She told Oprah Winfrey back in 2021, “Eugenie and I had known each other before I had known Harry, so that was comfortable.”

Meghan also recalled a fun Halloween party that she attended with both Eugenie and Jack before their relationship went public. She said, “He [Harry] came to see me in Toronto and our friends and his cousin Eugenie and now her husband Jack, they came as well, and the four of us snuck out in Halloween costumes to just have one fun night on the town before it was out in the world that we were a couple. It was a post-apocalypse theme, so we had all this very bizarre costuming on, and we were able to just have one fun final night out.”
