British royal family news reveals that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have another convenient excuse for being “f****** grifters:” The Writer’s Guild of America strike.
They may add this to the list of vile excuses for being non-productive, such as the death of Queen Elizabeth.
They are still signed to Netflix but a source close to the traitors bleated that any projects for the streamer are “tough” because of the Hollywood writers’ strike.
Translated, this means that the couple are already lining up putrid excuses for why they can’t lift a finger to earn the millions thrown at them.
Royal News: The WGA Strike Affects the Markles
Harry and Meghan the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have produced a grand total of TWO projects for the streamer, in three and a half years.
There was the documentary all about them, ‘Harry and Meghan,’ and ‘Live to Lead,’ about social justice.
Royal Family News: Markle Excuses
It’s been reported that the Markles want to do a third Netflix documentary “about humanitarian issues in South Africa which will see them meeting local communities.” Three projects in three years—great work if you can get it.
But now someone close to them whined to the Daily Telegraph that it would be hard for the couple to get any work done “because of the ongoing US writers’ strike.”
The Screen Actor’s Guild is also on strike, and Hollywood may be shut down for a while. Stars like Susan Sarandon and Kevin Bacon are throwing their weight behind the strike and it could go on for a while, with talking points including AI and residuals.
Royal News: Insider Whines About Markles
The strikes are affecting major studios in Los Angeles, including Netflix, Warner Bros., Disney and Paramount. Around 160,000 actors are on strike across the US, while nearly 12,000 Writers Guild of America talents have been on strike since May 2.
The last time both unions picketed was way back in 1960, when SAG was headed up by former Bonzo actor and former US president, Ronald Reagan.
There are no details on the rumored Harry and Meghan/South African project, but the Sunday Mirror claimed that it could include Harry and Meghan “helping to build houses in villages they visit.”
The source added, “Meghan is particularly keen to share information about giving birth safely with the women she meets.” But a Page Six article “claimed that it could be a solo production for Harry, following in the footsteps of his mother Princess Diana who also went to Africa to raise awareness of landmines.” Harry sure has been going solo a lot lately …

Prince Harry should return to London without Meghan. He should take the children with him. The children will not get the love from Meghan because she will be too busy making movies.
