Royal Family News: Meghan Markle’s “Publicity Catastrophes” Are All On Her

British royal family news reveals that both Meghan Markle Duchess of Sussex and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall have one thing in common: a degree of public disdain not enjoyed by other royals.

Now it’s being claimed by royal watcher Daniela Elser that the monarchy has had to put together a concerted PR effort to deal with polishing Camilla’s image and protect it from, “online hate.”

She claimed that no such palace plan was in place for Meghan during her brief visit in the kingdom. Could that be because Hollywood savvy Meghan had her own PR firm to buff her image, that she wasn’t in town long enough to warrant a strategy, or because her image is simply what it is and no amount of spit and polish will make it otherwise? Maybe all of the above?

Meghan Markle Did Not Have A Royal Strategy To Combat The Public’s Dislike Of Her

In response to Meghan’s former cries that the palace did nothing to protect her image from the slings and arrows of the common people, the place had a quick reply: whatever conduct she was accused of was true hence there could be no defense.

Elser told news.com.Au, “It would seem that the courtiers of Buckingham Palace and Clarence House, the official residence of Charmilla, have been quietly beavering away on a counter-strategy,” for Camilla’s negative media perception.

“The palace has proven they are perfectly adept at carefully calibrated PR maneuvers, all undertaken to protect the image of Camilla from swelling public dislike and online hate.”

Would Meghan Markle Have Benefited From A Royal Masterplan To Scrub Her Image?

Elser said that she believes Meghan was not given that support before she infamously quit her role.

“No matter who was to blame for which particular publicity catastrophe, surely it would have been in the best interests of the palace machine to try and step in and attempt some sort of calculated fight back.” At least Elser admits that Meghan was guilty of public catastrophe.

“While they did push back against a number of erroneous stories, such as a report that Meghan had pressured Harry to not take part in a pheasant shoot; that she and Kate were locked in a feud and one magazine’s claim that they planned to raise their then-unborn child ‘with a fluid approach to gender’, there was never any evidence pointing to some royal master plan to try and protect Meghan from the bombardment of carping and criticism she constantly faced.” In defense of the palace, there are only so many hours in a day, and so much lipstick available for putting on you know what.
