British royal family news reveals that unpaid Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex spokesman Omid Scobie is at it again. He’s hitting back at rumors and speculation and setting the record straight in defense of his “soul mate” Meghan.

For starters, Scobie wants everyone to know that Prince William’s tribute to his grandfather Prince Philip was not “a dig” at his younger brother, Hollywood Harry. Got that?

Third, and perhaps the biggest pill to ingest, Scobie insists that Meghan “wanted” to attend the Prince Philip funeral in the UK on Saturday.

So why didn’t she do just that, and accompany her husband who is now in London? She is so selfless, she thought it best to stay home so as not to upstage Philip in his final glory.

According to Scobie, Meghan believed SHE, not the deceased, would be the “center of attention,” at his own funeral and did the noble thing, stayed put.

Perhaps to make sure we all get that Meghan really wanted to be there, Scobie added that she and Philip, “had a special bond and she adored him.”

As to the separate posts the princes made regarding their grandfather’s life, Scobie, friend of the Sussexes who wrote their insanely flattering biography Finding Freedom, told Good Morning Britain that William was not attacking William, and their statements reflect their, “different personalities.”

He said rather magnanimously speaking for us all, “I think for us on the outside it might look like that but I think we have to remember that that is William’s role, he is the future head of state and so he is really thinking about getting back to work. I don’t think it was anything aimed at his brother.”
