Royal Family News: New Book Alleges Conflict Between Prince Harry & Family In Danger Zone

British royal family news reveals that there seems to be no love lost between the monarchy and its royal runaways Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. And yet the estrangement is huger than even the media is making it out to be according to one royal expert.

Tom Bower has spilled a ton of dirt in his new book, “Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors,” which drops later this month. Keep reading for some of the more juicy tidbits.

Royal Family News: A New Royal Book Spills the Earl Grey

According to Bower it was Meghan’s breathless Vanity Fair interview and cover in 2017 that set the boat rocking. According to him, she was told not to talk about Prince Harry and so what did she do? Yep, the headline reads: “She’s Just Wild About Harry!” Someone forgot to keep their lips zipped, and in hindsight the monarchy should not have been surprised that she and Harry trashed them to Oprah Winfrey?

In spite of being told to keep her relationship on the down low, this is that Meghan is quoted as saying: “We’re a couple, we’re in love.” So much for discretion. She also promised to later come forward and tell their story in detail.

Royal Family News: Meghan Let Loose

Bower claims that the Royals were ticked off. According to TMZ, “At the time, they’d been seen together publicly, but neither had spoken to the press. Meghan, in turn, reportedly got up in arms with her PR agency … telling them to demand VF pull the quote and change their angle. Vanity refused.”

And so the twisted and tortured tale of Meghan and Harry’s incessant blabbing to the media was seemingly birthed. Her inability to control herself did not leave, “a great impression with Buckingham Palace — as we know, tensions only grew as time went on … reaching a boiling point with the Oprah interview.”

Royal Family News: Where Is The Self-Control?

Among the more salacious morsels in the book, Bowers claims that Queen Elizabeth allegedly voiced relief that Meghan did not come to Prince Philip’s funeral, and alleges that the thirsty pair did not consult with her about naming their daughter after her.

There’s also dish about the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in early June. Bower claims that the Markle’s, “were dead set on getting a spot next to the Queen … in return for what they thought they were owed for bringing the kids out there in the first place — but Prince Charles shut it down.”

Finally, Harry’s interview with Hoda Kotb also rubbed the royals the wrong way due to the way in which the hothead inferred that he is closer to the queen than any of her other grandkids. Gotta love his moxie. Or not.
