British royal family news shows that Omid Scobie should stick to his day job as Meghan Markle’s soul mate and leave the law profession to the experts. He’s weighed in on the ruling that absolves Piers Morgan of hurting Rachel’s feelings and as usual his opinion is not only hilariously off base, it’s baseless.
Today watchdog Ofcom found that Good Morning Britain did not break, “the Human Rights Act,” when show host Morgan disagreed with Meghan. He was fired for his opinion, cancelled for daring to disagree with a failed princess. Sorry kids, the adults have weighed in and you’re wrong.
Royal Family News – Piers Morgan Is Vindicated
Morgan said he, “didn’t believe a word,” of Meghan’s blather as spilled during an Oprah Winfrey tell-all in March. Since then, many of her and Harry’s claims have been refuted, discredited and shown to be false. An authority no less than the Archbishop of Canterbury was forced to call Meghan out for lying about him on the show. Believe it or not Oprah has been nominated for an Emmy for the tripe filled interview—what can she possibly say and not offend anyone if she wins?
Leave it to Scobie Doo to find fault with the experts who have shown Meghan to be wrong. He disagrees that, “freedom of expression,” is a protected right. According to his scary perspective, one echoed by Meghan and Harry, not everyone should be guaranteed the right to speak their mind. Harry recently said he finds the First Amendment, which guarantees the right to free speech, “bonkers.”
A human rights lawyer, in other words someone who knows what he’s talking about unlike Scobie, notes that Ofcom’s decision was correct in regard to Morgan.

Piers Morgan Should Get His Job Back?
Lawyer Adam Wagner is a human rights attorney and Scobie is best known for referring to himself as Meghan’s “soul mate.” Scobie wrote Prince Harry and Meghan’s biography Finding Freedom last year and this month updated it, showing that his income stream is greatly dependent on the couple known for suing the media.
Today he tweeted: “Under Article 10 of the Human Rights Act 1998, freedom of speech ensures everyone in UK ‘has the right to freedom of expression.’ But it is not absolute ….”
That sounds like a slippery slope to censorship and restriction of human rights among other things. Clearly Scobie speaks for Harry and Meghan—is this the kind of dangerous nonsense the public can expect if Meghan gets her way and takes public office one day? Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Scary is the best word for Meghan.
