British royal family news reveals that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have learned nothing in the space of a year. Veteran’s Day in the US and Armistice Day in the UK are solemn times to remember those who have served their country, some never making it back home. It is not a day for tacky PR stunts, nor a day for tasteless jokes about oneself. And yet here we are again, enduring the mockery of these two moppets making the day all about themselves.

Piers Morgan remembers well the Remembrance Day pictures the Markle’s commissioned in a US graveyard to make themselves look important. It was just as he said, a,“distasteful PR stunt” and they have repeated the act again this year.

On Sunday, members of the Royal Family will pay their respects to Britain’s fallen soldiers at the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph as they do every year. Last year Harry who ditched the monarchy was sitting on his LA living room couch, wanting the others to take care of his duty. When the queen decided no one had to lay a wreath for absent Prince Harry he went ballistic, hired a professional photographer and he and Meghan dressed to the nines in mourning clothes then unleashed themselves at LA National Cemetery.

Furious that the queen did not do his bidding, Harry pinned all three of his puny medals to his jacket and stalked the graves looking for something suitable to toss flowers on. Every moment was recorded for posterity by his celeb photographer.

When the pleased with themselves Markle’s began doling out the pics for publication social media went berserk at the tasteless audacity of the two.

Morgan spoke for many others when he blew a gasket on ITV’s Good Morning Britain. Who were they to tramp around hallowed ground turning it into a cheap photo op because they were mad at the queen?

Morgan said, “What they then do, they go to a military cemetery in Los Angeles and they then invite a photographer, one of their preferred photographers. Remember they’re very privacy-minded, these two. They don’t like the press, they don’t like photography, unless they’re controlling it.”

“And they then release a series of images of themselves at a cemetery, laying flowers, and a wreath and paying tribute. Now, Prince Harry is perfectly entitled as a former member of the armed forces to pay tribute to the armed forces, of course he is.”

“However this smacked to me as a really distasteful PR stunt designed to say to the Palace ‘you might try and stop me having my right to have a livery servant lay my wreath, but you’re not going to stop me grabbing the PR headlines’. And I’m sorry, that sticks in my gullet, this guy is doing no duty.”
