Royal Family News: Prince Andrew Begged Queen To Make William King Not Prince Charles

British royal family news divulges that a new book by veteran royal watcher Angela Levin is making audacious accusations about the monarchy just days after Queen Elizabeth was laid to rest.

According to the book no less than an act of treason was being plotted by two royals who history has already taken a dim view of. Was defrocked Prince Andrew secretly scheming with King Charles’ first wife to keep the queen’s heir from reaching the throne? That is the scandalous plot that unfolds in the pages of Nicholl’s new book.

According to the Daily Mail, disgraced Andrew, “plotted with Princess Diana and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson to try to prevent Charles becoming King and allow Prince William to take the throne with the Duke of York as Regent.”

On top of that, in what could be the boldest act of the pot calling the kettle shady, Andrew stands accused of lobbying the Queen, “against the marriage between Charles and Camilla, now King and Queen Consort, telling his mother that she was not trustworthy.”

Apparently under Andrew’s alleged plan, “William would have been lined up for the throne with Charles pushed out and Andrew made Regent if the Queen had died before William was 18.”

Keep in mind this alleged “coup” was being hatched long before Andrew was kicked out of the monarchy for conduct most unbecoming to the crown. In February Andrew was stripped of his titles after making a multimillion-dollar payment to a woman who accused him of sexually abusing her when she was a minor (he denies the charges).

Levin was told by an insider that Andrew Duke of York and Diana put their heads together to, “push Prince Charles aside,” with the goal of Andrew becoming, “Regent to Prince William.”

According to the book, “Andrew lobbied very hard with the hope that Charles would not become king when his mother died, and that William would wear the crown.”

Levin wrote, “When Diana was alive, through her friendship with Andrew’s wife Sarah, [Duchess of York] she plotted with Andrew to try to push Prince Charles aside so Prince Andrew could become Regent to Prince William, who was then a teenager. They were dark and strange times, where paranoia became reality, and this was a worry.”

Royal Family News – Andrew Lobbied the Queen

This spare part drama eerily reflects the path another spare, Prince Harry, appears to be on. According to Levin, Andrew was angry, “that he couldn’t rule the country in some way. He remained so hostile to Camilla’s emergence and acceptance that it’s doubtful it has ever been forgiven.”

Levin’s book is titled Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall: From Outcast to Queen Consort, and takes a look at how Camilla’s relationship with the royal family has evolved over time.
