Royal Family News: Prince Andrew Could Be Grilled For Hours About His ‘Private Parts’

British royal family news reveals that Prince Andrew must now confront a stultifying prospect he did everything in his power to avoid: testifying in a sexual abuse lawsuit in which he is named as the defendant. He will be cross-examined via video by a trial lawyer with a fierce reputation, with intimate and private topics on the table.

David Boies is the attorney for the plaintiff Virginia Giuffre, who alleges two convicted sex traffickers, friends of Andrew’s forced her to have sex with Andrew on three occasions, while she was a minor. This week Andrew’s team lost their bid to have the suit thrown out and now must face the very unpleasant prospect of a high profile case.

Today, hours after the judge ruled against Andrew, Buckingham Palace took the extraordinary step of issuing a statement that made Andrew persona non grata among the royal family.

Royal Family News – Prince Andrew Is On His Own

Andrew has not been convicted of a crime in a court of law, but the court of public, and dare we say familial, opinion is loud and clear. To be clear Prince Andrew has denied the charges against him and yet the monarchy felt it had no other recourse than to remove him from its foundation by stripping him of his titles and military roles. He is also not allowed to use HRH and will face the case as a private citizen.

According to the Daily Mail, the plaintiff’s lawyer Davd Boies, is the, “greatest deposition-take,” in modern American justice. They predict that Andrew could be grilled for hours upon hours while under oath; if he is found to have lied he will be guilty of perjury.

Royal Family News – Andrew Will Be Questioned

Among the royals who could be called to be deposed are Princes William and Charles, the queen, and Andrews’s ex-wife Sarah, and their daughters Beatrice and Eugenie. The topic matter? “Andrew’s sex life and alibis.”

Andrew was given the nickname “Randy Andy” in his younger days and there was speculation he may have offered his accuser a cash settlement to end the case out of court.

Boies said his team want to depose, “between ten to 12 people,” and admitted this could include members of Andrew’s immediate family. Florida lawyer Spencer Kuvin said, “It is without question the Duke will be asked about his private parts. Nothing is off limits because if an underage girl can describe what the Duke of York’s private parts look like… how would that be if they had not had a relationship?’

His, “disastrous BBC Newsnight interview will haunt him. He mentioned his wife as well as his daughters. They can now all legally be deposed. The lawyers could even try for the Queen. I don’t doubt they will, but as a sovereign, it will be almost impossible to do.”
