British royal family news shows that Prince Andrew faces losing his taxpayer funded £3m-a-year armed security detail next month. It comes on the heels of his Jeffrey Epstein scandal/sexual abuse lawsuit settlement in February. Now a security official is slamming the disgraced spare for insisting, just like exiled Prince Harry, that he deserves the protection.
Royal Family News – Andrew Demands Security
Dai Davies is a former security expert who dissed Prince Andrew thusly: “Why should we pander to this over-inflated egotist called Andrew?”
Instead he believes the money saved would be better spent solving city wide crime in London.
Royal Family News – Andrew Whines For Security
In 1995 Davies was appointed Operational Unit Commander in charge of Royal Protection for Queen Elizabeth and the Royal Family. As such he was responsible for Palace and Personal Protection throughout the UK and worldwide.
When he was a official senior, working royal, Prince Andrew, “was entitled to a taxpayer funded security detail made up of armed police officers who accompanied him on all visits outside of Windsor, Berkshire,” according to the Daily Mail.
Royal Family News – Disgraced Andrew
In January the queen stripped him of his official duties, titles and charities, a clear sign that there is no coming back for the man accused of sexually abusing a minor and paying her out of court to settle the matter (he denies guilt).
Royal experts believe that King Charles will be even tougher with his brother Andrew than was his mother Queen Elizabeth.
Royal Family News – King Charles Not Suffering Fools
Each year taxpayer pay around £3 million for Andrew’s security detail. The outlet reports that, “Andrew is understood to be complaining about the decision to the Met Police and Home Office, after the move means he would have to go without armed security or fund it privately.”
Additionally a source told the Sun on Sunday, “He is going to write to the Home Office and the Met Police to complain about losing his taxpayer-funded security.” Tell us royal fans, does Andrew deserve to keep his security perk or did he flush that down the toilet with an out of court sex abuse settlement?

Andrew doesn’t need security. People around him do from him! Charlie Iii needs to grow up and realize the consequences of his actions may nott be what he likes. How many females did he propose to who said NO prior to Diana saying yes? All must remember there are 3 sides to every story 1) My side 2) person telling the story’s side and the right side.
Camilla is about to get what she has been after for years , no wonder she’s worried about Wills and Kate! They are actual Royals, she isn’t. Consort is a good name for her because she did. How many people will watch the Coronation because it is history, not because they like Charlie III?
