Royal Family News: Prince Andrew Will Be Interrogated Over Sexual Abuse Claims

British royal family news reveals that Prince Andrew is set to be interviewed by lawyers representing Virginia Roberts Guiffre, in London on March 10. She has accused him of sexual assault and now it appears that Andrew will testify under oath according to inside sources.

According to the Daily Mail, a source said on Saturday, “We agreed to voluntarily produce the Duke for a deposition on March 10. Despite repeated requests, Ms. Giuffre still hasn’t committed to a date or location for her deposition.”

On Sunday Queen Elizabeth, Andrew’s mother, will mark the official date of her 70th year on the throne. In June there will be a four day bank holiday to commemorate the event, known as her Platinum Jubilee.

Apparently Andrew is, “being prepared by his UK-based legal team as he prepares to face a grilling over the span of two days by David Boies, 80, one of America’s most renowned attorneys,” according to Sigrid McCawley.

The queen stripped Prince Andrew of his military titles and royal peerages last month when the judge refused to toss the case out at Andrew’s request. Now it appears he will face interrogation over Giuffre’s claims that he had sex with her when she was a minor, on three occasions in 2001.

Roberts brought a civil suit against Andrew in New York, alleging that she was a sex trafficking victim of Andrew’s friend, dead convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. She alleged that Epstein forced her to have sex with Andrew when she was 17.

Additionally, her legal team have indicated they may question two witnesses connected to Andrew. The first is Shukri Walker, “who claims to have seen Andrew at Tramp nightclub in London at the time of the alleged assault, and Rob Olney, the Prince’s former personal assistant.”

Giuffre’s lawyer, David Boies has been called the, “greatest deposition taker,” in America. Over the course of his high profile career he has repped popular celebs, “and has secured or won for clients nine settlements of more than a billion dollars.”

Among his cases, “He represented Presidential candidate Al Gore after the disputed 2000 election and helped change the law in California to allow gay people to marry.”
