Royal Family News: Prince Charles And Katherine Jenkins Share A Flirty Moment

Prince Charles British royal family news reveals that poor Prince Charles has recently been dragged through the mud by his trash talking son Prince Harry with nary a consequence for the mouthy offspring. So it’s especially pleasing to see the beleaguered dad break out into smiles today after watching opera singer Katherine Jenkins perform.

The event saw Charles, Prince of Wales unveil a plaque for a monument to fallen police officers. The event was held at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire. The monument commemorates police officers and staff who have died on duty. It was established in 1749 by brothers Henry and John Fielding.

After the unveiling and performance by Jenkins, the two chatted and seemed to enjoy a day in the sun.

The pair met over a decade ago then caught up again in 2013 at the University College Hospital in London. Charles was touring the Macmillian Cancer Support wing and Katherine was there as an ambassador.

Then in 2014 the singer received an OBE from Prince Charles himself, at Buckingham Palace. Pictures from that day show both looking very pleased to be in each others’ company.

At the time the singer, “The Prince is always a lot of fun and I’ve met him several times, so we always have a nice chat.”

She went on to say of that moment, “He asked how long had I been doing this and I said 10 years releasing albums and five years working with the British Forces Foundation.”

She added, “He also commented on my hat – he said he loved the color.” This month Katherine performed at a grand event to raise funds for a conservation charity which was founded by the prince’s wife’s late brother Mark Shand.

During that performance Prince Charles and Camilla had a front-row seat as they thrilled to the opera singer’s voice at the event which took place at Lancaster House.

Today Prince Charles paid tribute to the, “valor and sacrifice of those who have laid down their lives to keep us safe.” During the event he unveiled a memorial depicting falling leaves that is meant as a symbolic scene to remember fallen police officers and staff.
