Royal Family News: Prince Charles & Camilla Parker Bowles Caught Travelling During Lockdown

British royal family news reveals that Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall have been traveling on a regular basis during the country’s third lockdown, but only for essential work.

Prince Charles and Camilla have been at Gloucestershire at Highgrove House since before Christmas but now Clarence House has been forced to admit that they are going back and forth to their administrative base at Clarence House during the national lockdown.

Clarence House made it a point to say that they leave Gloucestershire for work, “where absolutely necessary.”
A Clarence House spokeswoman told Express.co.uk on Friday, “Their Royal Highnesses are based at Highgrove in Gloucestershire but travel to London for work where absolutely necessary and in accordance with government guidelines.”

On Thursday Camilla carried out a video call with the domestic abuse charity Safe Lives at Clarence House. She was seen in Clarence House’s lavish Morning Room.

The Morning Room is filled with fascinating objects including the Sortie de l’Eglise, Jamaique 1961 painting by Sir Noël Coward and a bust of the young Queen. The lavish setting got the attention of some who questioned why Camilla was there.

But according to a body language expert, Camilla’s choice of location was full of symbolism meant to cement her status as the “future Queen.” Body language analyst and author Judi James told Express.co.uk, “Camilla seems to be sitting in her husband’s office and that means we see her, as a future queen or queen consort, placed right slap in the middle between a picture of the Queen Mother watching her from the wall and a bust of the Queen as a young girl on her other side.”

Judi added, “This line-up looks very symbolic, placing Camilla in the ranks of other Queens.”

During the call with Safe Lives Chief Executive Suzanne Jacob and domestic abuse survivor Rachel Williams, Camilla advocated for the group’s ‘Ask for ANI’ program.

Camilla is a supporter of domestic abuse charities and praised the work being done by Safe Lives: “It’s pure brilliance because it’s so simple, yet it’s so effective.”

In other news the couple made the headlines this week for receiving the COVID-19 inoculation. There is no word yet as to whether they have experienced any side effects.
