Royal Family News: Prince Edward Confirms Prince Harry Ripped The Family Apart

Prince Edward British royal family news divulges that Prince Edward the Earl of Wessex shockingly confirmed the cataclysmic schism that Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan Markle have thrown the royal family into.

There have been innuendo and allegations but today a senior royal admitted to the estrangement saying he is keeping clear of the mudslinging.

In a wide-ranging interview, Edward spoke about how Her Majesty is coping after the death of her beloved husband, and Markle’s choice of that name for their second child.

Royal Family News – Prince Edward Is Speaking Out

He told CNN, “It’s difficult for everyone but that’s families for you.” Truer words have never been spoken.
He was also quizzed about Megxit, the couple’s incendiary public move to quit the royal family in order to collect millions for themselves. Tactful Edward said, “We wish them the very best of luck. It’s a really hard decision.” He really should be in politics, shouldn’t he?

He was careful to say that all royals are in the public eye that the Markle’s condemned, but that, “we all had to deal with it in different ways.”

According to him, “We’ve all had that same spotlight shone on our lives. We’ve all been subjected to massive intrusion and all the rest of it. We all had to deal with it in different ways.”

Royal Family News – Prince Edward Has A Politician’s Tactfulness

This year his late father Prince Philip would have turned 100. Philip died in April at Windsor Castle with his wife of 73 years at his side. Of his mom, Queen Elizabeth, Edward said she is doing, “remarkably well,” and has welcomed getting back to work after the global coronavirus pandemic shut down the world.

He said that his parents found the lockdown at Windsor Castle a challenge, but that was nothing compared to the father’s funeral on April 17.

“It was an experience that so many other families have had to go through during this past year or 18 months and so in that sense, it was particularly poignant. There are an awful lot of people who haven’t been able to express the respect that they would like to have done. I think many people would have liked to have been there to support the Queen.”

When asked what he thought about Harry naming his daughter Lilibet, he avoided that angle and wished the little family of four well.

Prince Harry has not been as circumspect. Yesterday he fired off a legal attack on the BBC after it claimed the couple did not ask the Queen if they could name their daughter after her.
