Royal Family News: Prince Harry Accused of Rubbing Salt Into His Family’s Fresh Wounds

British royal family news shows that Prince Harry believes his family is guilty of, as he puts it, a “campaign of blame.” This has been his tenor and tone for two years, since Megxit, but he is under new attack following a series of bombshell interviews to promote his juicy memoir, Spare.

His latest television interview saw the royal runaway declare that his family purposely launched a war of words against him with the British Press equally guilty. Why? He claims they colluded to thwart his memoir.

Royal Family News – Harry Makes Accusations

Harry is fifth in line to the throne, despite his having thrown down his tiara in a fit of pique. This week he told The Late Show host that his family is simply afraid of his big potty mouth, that they are: “uncomfortable and scared.”

It was an incredible moment when Stephen Colbert asked the redhead if there is an, “active campaign by the rest of your family, the royal house, as it were, to undermine this book and you as you support it.” Without hesitation Harry said, “Of course. And mainly by the British Press …”

Colbert interrupted to say, “But aided and abetted by the Palace?” and without skipping a beat Harry responded, “Again, of course. This is the other side of the story, right. After 38 years they have told their story and this is the other side of the story. And there’s a lot in here that perhaps makes people feel uncomfortable and scared.”

While his family have refused to stoop to his level, “those with knowledge of the break-down of his relationship with his family – who have held back from criticizing him out of respect to the King – believe he has now crossed a line,” according to the Daily Mail.

Royal Family News – Stephen Colbert Hosted Harry

A source told the outlet of Harry: “His is a one-sided truth, unfortunately. Harry clearly believes what he says … The reason why he and Meghan left was not because they were forced out, as they claim, or that they dramatically fled for their lives. It was simply because the Royal Family and the institution wouldn’t do everything they wanted them to do. This latest interview is just another salvo in their campaign of blame.”

The source added that with his incessant vindictive streak, Harry is, “rubbing salt into their wounds … At the heart of it all is the story of a very sad family breakdown – Harry’s own included – and one that will never have a happy ending unless he allows people some time and space to heal.”
