According to The Sun, Harry and Meghan were “not welcome” to a star-studded 2023 BAFTA Tea Part in Los Angeles amid all of the drama with the royal family right now. One source close to the situatio neven said, “BAFTA decided it was a terrible idea [to invite them]. They thought it would be a PR disaster.”
The insider added, “For them to roll out the red carpet to Harry and his wife would be like setting off a nuclear bomb. It’s a no-go.”
It’s also been noted that Prince William is the president of BAFTA. Now, whether or not Harry and Meghan even had any plans to event the tea party to begin with, remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, there are some members of the royal family who believe that Harry has been kidnapped by “psychotherapists.” According to The Independent, a reconciliation with the royal family is nearly impossible now that Harry has dragged every member of his fam, including Prince William, Kate Middleton, and even his stepmother Camilla Parker Bowles. And the royals know that they can’t retaliate because everything they will say will end up in the papers.
“They are trapped,” says one source close to the situation. “They really can’t engage because everything they say will be shared with the media. It is impossible to have a conversation or write a letter because of the risk that anything they say being put in the public domain by Harry, potentially for commercial benefit. There has been a complete breakdown of trust.”
The royal source said: “They aren’t going to apologize because they don’t recognise Harry’s version of events. He has been kidnapped by a cult of psychotherapy and Meghan. It is impossible for him to return in these circumstances.”
