British royal family news teases that Rebecca Sananes is the latest addition to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s payroll. She has been added to the podcast arm of their idle brand that has done nothing to date and probably won’t as the couple recently announced they need about five months off to wind down.

Maybe Rebecca Sananas’ job is to produce all the content the Markle’s have failed to create for, “the podcast arm of Archewell Audio?”

According to HELLO! Rebecca’s lofty title for Archewell Audio is Head of Audio. Her boss is Ben Browning, Head of Content for Archewell. After months there has been neither audio nor content from the Markle’s but there’s always tomorrow isn’t there?

The lucky hire comes on board in August to shepherd the organization’s, “creative partnership with Spotify.”

Royal Family News – Archewell Has A New Hire

The striving Duke and Duchess of Sussex debuted Archewell Audio in 2020. The lofty goal was proclaimed to be, “programming that uplifts and entertains audiences around the world by spotlighting diverse perspectives and voices.”

So far, crickets.

But maybe as Head of Audio, Rebecca will actually perform impactful work that results in bringing tangible, “stories to life and build community through shared experiences and universal values.”

Who is Rebecca? She is described as, “A podcaster, journalist and storyteller, Rebecca has 10+ years of experience in nonfiction narrative storytelling, including working in public radio where one of her projects was awarded the National Murrow Award for Best Audio News Documentary (2018) and the Regional Murrow Award for Excellence in Writing (2018). Additionally, Rebecca received the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting HIV/AIDS Fellowship in 2015.”

Additionally she, “served as the Lead Producer of Pivot with Kara Swisher and Scott Galloway, New York Magazine and Vox Media’s award-winning podcast. The show has won iHeart Best Business & Finance Podcast (2021) Webby Business Podcast of the Year (2020), Webby People’s Choice Podcast of the Year (2020), and Adweek Thought Leadership Podcast of the Year (2019).”

Royal Family News – When Will the Markle’s DO Some Work?

In 2020 a trailer clip from Archewell Audio released last year was accompanied by these words: “Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, present Archewell Audio. Coming soon to Spotify.”

Again, so far crickets. Sounds like Rebecca may have her work cut out for her.
