British royal family news divulges that Prince Harry’s memoir, Spare, made a splash that reverberated across the Atlantic Ocean, all the way to his gobsmacked family back in the UK. No one though Dirty Harry would hold back on the vitriol, but few anticipated the level of mirth he displayed in exposing his brother Prince William’s faults, ie, as a balding necklace breaker.

The book has served to further divide the divide in public opinion about the Markles. Some continue to see the man-child as a victim of his caustic upbringing, which included an acrimonious divorce for his parents, and the untimely death of his mother Princess Diana.
No one can deny Harry’s childhood was filled with sorrow. But so have most people experienced sorrow and worse, and behaved much better than Harry. So, on the other side of the divide, a sizable section of the public think he shouldn’t publicly aired his grievances.

Royal pundit Victoria Arbiter told TalkTV that in the aftermath of Spare, the royal runaways probably, “expected a better reception.” Which is a nice way of saying more support for them and their rubbishing pf his family.
She said, “It’s very difficult to speak for Harry and Meghan in terms of what their overall objective was with the Netflix docuseries, with the book. I think Harry with his book in particular was very keen to get his side of the story across, so mission accomplished in that regard.”

How so? In case you haven’t heard, Dirty Harry was eager to get across EXACTLY how he lost his virginity (in a field where he was spanked by an older woman), and the state of his penis (circumsised and once frostbit). As Arbiter notes, “In that regard, I think yes, he has achieved his objective but I don’t think the book was received quite how he was hoping.” Unless one bought Spare with the express purpose of delving into the Prince’s private parts.
She concludes, “Americans in general are a sympathetic bunch, and I am generalizing when I say that, and I think Harry and Meghan have enjoyed that level of sympathy that they perhaps weren’t given in the U.K. “But I think they will have been shocked by some of the negative pushback, I don’t think that was expected it at all.”

Never bought it , never read it
Never will… I’m sick of a whining little boy trying to gain symphony for his extremely entitled life in which he was abused.
He’s in need of mental help, he doesn’t know the word respect to anyone is no funny what he’s doing with RF and friends .
The King has to remove all the title and get them out of the UK not even allow him to go back to his cottage.
The palace is showing that they all afraid of him, we the people know who he is !
If the King doesn’t act immediately this is the END of the monarchy
Although this is Harrys “truth” he doesn’t seem to understand Prince William and Kate as well as the King and Queen have their own “truths which most likely will vary from Harrys. Prince William in particular had his struggles after losing his mom. Harry seems to forget that Diana had two children. It is time for Harry and Megan to grow up. A more positive narrative would be welcome. And just so he knows I am one of four siblings and we fought. That is part of growing up.
They need to move on.
If writing his book was a way for him to relieve the heavy burden he carried on his shoulders for years then, more power to him. We all have the privilege to express ourselves in any way we choose. He choice to express his feelings by sharing them with the whole world. I haven’t read his book and probably won’t but from what I’ve read on line and heard on TV about his frostbite penis was a little to much. I wonder if he regrets some of the things he said. We live to learn and learn to live. I wish Prince Harry the best in all his endeavors.
