In fact, there’s a new report that suggests the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been warned that “history won’t be kind” to them if they continue to allow their egos to take over in everything that they do. According to royal expert Nick Ede, Harry and Meghan have been warned to chill out on all of the royal bashing, as throwing other members of the royal family under the bus has not been doing them any favors.

As many royal fans know by now, the Sussexes have taken aim at the royal family in their Netflix documentary, Harry and Meghan, and again in Harry’s book, Spare. And now Ede warns that “history won’t be kind” to them if they continue to do this.

He told Entertainment Daily in a new interview, “The trouble with Harry and Meghan is that they didn’t think far enough ahead of the consequences of their dramatic exit from the royal family. History is something that is taught in schools and studied by many people and the history books won’t be kind to Harry and Meghan which I think they didn’t realize.”

Ede continued, “They wanted their legacy to be about change and changing the establishment. But their own sense of worth and egos took over what should and could have been a well-orchestrated exit that was acceptable for both parties. “It could have meant that the history books would have respected their wishes and reasoning for doing so.”
