British royal family news reveals that Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex has a big decision to make regarding another trip to his homeland, the one he rejected for “financial freedom.”
He is waiting for the birth of his second child, a daughter, and he is expected to be in the UK for an unveiling of a statue of his late mother Princess Diana on July 1.
Will Harry Do the Right Thing?
The statue was commissioned by both Harry and his brother Prince William. It was commissioned in 2017 prior to Harry abandoning the monarchy for a life of Hollywood excess. A lot has gone down since then with Harry bad-mouthing his family every chance he gets.
The statue will be unveiled on what would have been Diana’s 60th birthday.
But the timing of his child’s arrival could affect Harry’s decision to travel to London from LA. He recently traveled home for the funeral of his father but Meghan chose to stay home.
Will Harry go back and do his duty a second time?
What is Harry’s Next Move?
Royal expert Katie Nicholl told 9Honey that Harry would be opposed to William being alone at the unveiling.
“We know he can travel if he wants to and needs to because he travelled over for [Prince Philip’s] funeral,” Nicholl said. “I think a lot of it does depend on (his wife) Meghan and whether she has given birth by that point — we understand the baby is due in June, therefore he should be able to come over, even if it’s just for a fleeting 48-hour trip early July once the baby is born.”
Harry loves private jets despite his pleas for the rest of us to fly commercial to save the environment, so he can easily travel back. For that matter, he has decreed that he will only have two children so as not to spoil the environment.

Harry Is Looking Out For Nature
“I don’t think he’ll be staying for any lengthy period of time but the hope is he’ll be able to make a whistle-stop trip … because the idea of William alone unveiling a statue dedicated to their mother, I think, just wouldn’t feel right to anyone,” added the expert.
“This statue has been a long time in the making, it is important, it’s important to them both and they both need to be there.”
She added that “They both want to have equal involvement in Diana’s legacy, marking that legacy, continuing that legacy — it’s not something that is ever going to just become William’s or just become Harry’s.”
