British royal family news reveals that four little words may have been the nail in the coffin for whatever relationship Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex could have salvaged with his family.

A royal expert is saying that it was four words uttered by Prince Harry in 2017 that, “doomed Meghan’s relationship with the royals.”

It happened when Harry guest-edited an episode of the Today show on BBC Radio where he had the unmitigated gall to proclaim that the royals were the, “family she never had.”

That comment was met with lots of social media debate according to Daily Star. Plenty of people thought it was a rude backhand to Meghan’s parents, Doria Ragland and Thomas Markle. As we now know, Harry meant every word of it—toward Thomas.

Daniela Elser, a royal journalist, wrote in news.com.au, that the Prince’s comment set, “an unfortunate precedent,” claiming his “impressive work, including an interview with Barack Obama, was largely overshadowed by a personal revelation.”

Now three years on these four simple words can now be seen “in a whole new light” as it implied that Meghan fit right into the royal family but that is exactly the opposite of what happened, and at the same time he alienated his wife’s family. One of whom, Samantha Markle is set to drop a tell-all book, and one of whom, Thomas Markle, is making a tell-all movie about his precious daughter.

Meanwhile the insiders are coming out of the woodwork to proclaim how happy and “content” the couple are with their bright new shiny Tinseltown lives. Friend Tom Bradby especially has been saying how hunky dory they are in their mansion.

And on Alan Titchmarsh’s Love Your Weekend, Bradby, also an anchor for ITV News, said: “I think they are feeling better, yes. So are they unhappy? No, I think they are content, the things they are doing they are quite excited by.”

“I think [Harry] is heartbroken by the situation with his family. You don’t necessarily need to have knowledge to know.”

Will they ever return to London to live half time as they promised? Royal biographer Angela Levin said on Talk Radio: “I don’t think Meghan would dare come back to London. She would have to bring Archie and they want to keep him well away from London.”
