Royal Family News: Prince Harry Following In Disgraced Sarah Ferguson’s Footsteps

British royal family news teases that ex royal Sarah Ferguson has more than a few things in common with royal runaways Harry and Meghan. All have brought a certain disrepute to the monarchy, and consequentially found themselves frozen out of the circle of trust.

According to one royal watcher, Sarah Ferguson might have a cautionary story for the thirsty pair. What would she say to the expats if given the chance?

Would she tell them not to, “repeat her mistakes?” Thus far they have traveled a similar road as Ferguson decades ago. Ferguson married Prince Andrew the Duke of York in 1986 and a short six years later she was divorced in part due to her scandalous behavior.

The Markle’s are still married, but scandal is their middle name, and just as it deteriorated Ferguson’s relationship with the royals so has it been for Harry and Meghan. Anyone who has seen the vivid pics of Sarah having her toes sucked by a lover, while still married to Andrew, cannot erase that tawdry image.

In many ways that uber tacky behavior sealed her fate of estrangement for many, many years.

Now royal expert Gertrude Daly thinks that Harry and Meghan’s similarly outlandish behavior could lead to further ostracization from his family. She told the Daily Star that the California couple, “like Sarah, are trying to make it on their own, become financially independent, face intense media scrutiny, and a public that both hates and loves them.”

Furthermore, “Duchess Sarah also had to navigate the minefield of sort of still being a royal and having a title, but no longer being an HRH or working royal, and losing the perks that come with that.”

Royal Family News – Harry Is Living Like A Commoner Now

In her estimation, Harry and Meghan could be trodding the same shameful ground that Ferguson did but with one key difference. She thinks they may be doing so without even knowing it. Well that makes all the sense in the world, they have shown themselves to be tone deaf over and over again.

Daly added, “Duchess Sarah post-separation from Prince Andrew lived part-time in the US, wrote books, became a spokesperson, founded her own charity and companies, produced TV and films, and continued to make charitable visits both in the UK, the US and abroad.”

Given all the similarities, what does she think the female redhead would say to the male redhead?

“To think things through carefully, as she made a lot of mistakes and regretful decisions post-divorce.”
