British royal family news reveals that there has been no shortage of behind the scenes drama for the family of Queen Elizabeth who passed away Thursday at the age of 96. Today her disgraced son Andrew was heckled as he followed her coffin in Edinburgh while, while days ago Harry and Meghan actually complained about being invited to view a floral tribute to the Queen, saying it came at the, “11th hour.”
The drama is not surprising given the fact that the royal family has been at odds from within for years.
Royal Family News – Drama Surrounding the Royals
The latest wrinkle comes as it’s been revealed that Prince Andrew will be allowed to wear his military uniform at Queen Elizabeth’s final vigil at Westminster Hall. That news was followed up with the announcement that Prince Harry, “has been banned from wearing military uniform if he attends.”
The monarch’s, “shamed younger brother Prince Andrew will be allowed to don his Armed Forces outfit ‘as a special mark of respect’ for their late mother,” according to the Daily Mail.
Royal Family News – Is There Drama Surrounding the Royals?
Why is this even an issue? It could be argued that Harry and Andrew have both tarnished the crown. Harry has been bad mouthing his family for two years following Megxit, and in February Andrew gave millions to his sex abuse accuser.
Andrew the Duke of York is a Falklands War veteran who was stripped of his titles, “amid the fallout from his role in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.”
Omid Scobie is Meghan Markle’s “soul mate” and the pet reporter for the Sussexes. He has been in high gear lately, proclaiming that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex weren’t invited soon enough to view flowers left for his grandmother.
Royal Family News – Harry Is Disallowed
Harry was in the military, serving two tours of Afghanistan. He has reportedly been banned from wearing his uniform, “at all ceremonial events during mourning for Her Majesty.”
Instead of showing quiet respect at this solemn time, Scobie found it necessary to bring more drama to the situation by proclaiming: “I understand that, unlike Prince Andrew, Prince Harry will NOT be allowed to wear uniform at the final vigil in Westminster Hall. No doubt a huge blow for the Duke of Sussex, who served for 10 years and this morning spoke of the Queen being his ”commander-in-chief.”’
On Wednesday the Queen will lie in state at Westminster Hall from 5pm until 6:30am, and her funeral is scheduled for Monday 19 September.

All of this in house royal drama and arguments are a good reason or case to slim down the monarchy. Andrew is disgraced and Harry has spent the past two years slandering his family and throwing shade on his grandmothers legacy. I don’t believe either should given a platform after their poor choices. Less senior working royals the less risks of having all these individuals despite bringing disgrace on themselves and the monarchy being able to cause unnecessary drama.
Harry’s priorities are extraordinary, he can’t take the time out of his *charity * events to muster enough care and consideration to go and vist his frail and sick grandmother but he can get all bent out of shape of being able to sniff what he feels is his quota of his grandmothers funeral flowers! Is there no end to this childish mans tantrums, we don’t get this unnecessary BS from Edwards young son and the Queens youngest grandson, Harry needs to grow up and stop trying to make his grandmothers funeral all about him.
Neither should be allowed. The Queens poor judgment concerning Andrew is showing again.
Why is Camilla allowed out there sitting by the king after he slept with her when he was married to a Princess Diana that’s adultery I think so I don’t like her being Queen just my opinion
