British royal family news reveals that Prince Harry the Duke of Sussex has a memoir coming out in January. It’s called Spare, apparently a snide allusion to his place within the monarchy. As the younger brother, Harry is considered a spare or replacement part should his older brother Prince William not become king for whatever reason. Historically the royal spares have had “issues” with being the second banana, and Harry looks to be tackling the dilemma head on.
According to royal editor Rebecca English, Harry was not always with a chip on his shoulder in regard to coming in second place. Let’s unpack what she says about Harry seeming to enjoy his role in his younger days.

English talked on a recent episode of Palace Confidential to share that Harry, “quite reveled in,” the non-attention paid him when he was younger.
This echoes what Ken Wolfe, Princess Diana’s former bodyguard, said about young and feisty Harry. According to him, the boys were in the car with him and their mom. Harry was being naughty and William was trying to bring him in line.
“Basically Harry said, ‘Well it doesn’t matter. You know, I can do what I want because basically, I’m not going to have the responsibility that you will have.’” Neener, neener.

English elaborated about this dynamic saying, “I remember, very distinctly, when Prince George and Princess Charlotte were born — I think it was Prince George, Harry was asked by a broadcaster how he felt about going down the pecking order.”
“His answer, I think, was so illuminating. He basically said ‘great, like it means basically I’m one less away from all of that stress and restrain and responsibility that comes with being the heir to the throne.’”

Markle tried everything and used everyone she knew to get to Harry. Her and Harry wanted the money and titles but didn’t want to do the work it requires. With the privileges comes lots of work and responsibility. I know it broke Queen Elizabeth’s heart. But she was a very intelligent woman, I bet she saw their desertion coming. Harry should be ashamed of himself. He could have waited a few years before he turned his back on the grandparents who raised him after his Mother’s death. I liked him till he did that. His little nasty wife has him by the short hairs. She had to go back to Hollyweird where she could schmooze with the stars who wouldn’t give her the time of day before she married royalty. Some are still snubbing her, at least the ones with class!! Of which nutmeg has none!!
