Well, it seems like whatever Prince Harry wants doesn’t mean that he’ll always get it. Royal Family News says that Prince Harry was rather disrespectful towards his father King Charles when they got into a heated argument over the phone about money.
In fact, the Duke of Sussex couldn’t help but let his anger out in the form of a string of curse words. Yikes. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Royal Family News: Prince Harry Was Disrespectful To King Charles For This Reason
According to GB News, royal author and expert Robert Jobson claims that King Charles was getting sick and tired of Prince Harry and all of the demands he made about getting more money.
Jobson even says that Prince Harry even remained quite close with Queen Elizabeth shortly after he moved to California with Meghan Markle and called her regularly, too.
Jobson says, “It troubled the Queen when he kept trying to air his grievances. Her Majesty found Prince Harry’s calls quite difficult and wearisome. She didn’t want to interfere in the father/son relationship and would urge him to speak to his father.”
The royal expert also went on to say that the phone calls between King Charles and Harry got so tense that they both lost their tempers at times, especially when Harry kept asking about money.
He said, “Prince Charles simply stopped taking Harry’s calls after his son swore at him and repeatedly asked for funds. When the Queen asked Charles why he hadn’t given in, he told her that he wasn’t a bank.”
Royal Family News: What’s Next For Prince Harry?
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter. It also seems as though Harry is no longer having to ask for money as he and Meghan Markle are paying their own bills thanks to their multi-million dollar contracts with the likes of Netflix, Spotify and even Random House. That, and King Charles stopped taking his son’s phone calls a long time ago.
