British royal family news reveals that court testimony maintains that Harry’s family gave info about him to a tabloid, seeming to corroborate his rants. It’s also been disclosed that representatives of the Royal Family had a hand in giving over privileged information about the court jester.

According to Marie Claire, Harry is having a field day suing “tabloid publishers in the U.K. over issues including invasion of privacy and libel.”

His latest case to be heard in court is against Mirror Group Newspapers, the publishers of the Daily Mirror. Harry asserts that “stories were published in the paper over a number of years based on information gathered unlawfully, including via phone hacking.”

For its part, lawyers for MGN deny that “a majority of the articles the duke cited as part of his claim included unlawfully gathered information.” Which smells like a smoking gun in and of itself, so let’s decipher what this statement means.

“MGN’s lawyer claimed in a court document seen by Yahoo! News: “Many [of the articles] came from information disclosed by or on behalf of royal households or members of the Royal Family.” Which would mean that Harry is correct, the world is spying on him.

Harry alleged in his Netflix docuseries Meghan & Harry that reps of various royal households “planted stories in the media in order to control the narrative in various ways.” At the time it seemed like more of Harry’s blather, but now these court documents shine a different light on his rants.

Also, Harry said on the series that he had not been consulted on a “joint” statement put out with his brother Prince William after Megxit: “A story came out saying that part of the reason why Meghan and I were leaving was because William had bullied us out. And once I got in the car after [a] meeting, I was told about a joint statement that had been put out in my name and my brother’s name, squashing the story about him bullying us out of the family.” Who do you believe royal fans, Dirty Harry or William the next UK King?
