Royal Family News: Prince Harry’s Family Can’t Trust Him

For royal family news watchers who were hoping that Prince William and Harry would talk through their differences and close off some of the gap that’s lingered between them in recent times, they were sourly let down. The princes could not have acted any differently from each other and were indifferent to each other. While Prince William composed himself and did what was expected of him during the event that would predictably be emotional for both brothers, Prince Harry laughed, talked and joked the whole time.

Harry didn’t linger around much for any chitchats with his brother William, but he did greet his aunts and uncle who were present at the event. As for Prince William, he made no attempt to engage Harry in any conversation. For him, the event was strictly a day to remember his beloved mother and pay tribute to the works she did whilst living.

The brothers did not give their own separate speeches at the event as previously reported, but rather released a joint statement commemorating the event. The joint statement was seen as a move to deflect the media from reporting about any further conflict between them.

Prince Harry Treated As A Royal Family News Leak

Prince William and Harry’s reunion at Kensington Palace for the unveiling of their mother’s statue was the second time that they’ve seen each other since Harry and wife Meghan stepped down as senior royals in 2020.

At Prince Philip’s funeral, the once-close brothers were seen chatting animatedly as they walked away from the funeral grounds, despite William’s prior desire not to walk beside Harry. But their recent reunion a few months later saw them barely speak to one another, and they only spent 20 minutes in the same room after the ceremony. Harry arrived at the ceremony 15 minutes before it began and mostly spent his time chatting with his aunts and uncle.

Sources close to the brothers said that it is now “almost impossible for Harry to be trusted.”

Their relationship started taking a turn when Prince William confronted Harry about the staff’s complaints of being bullied by Meghan Markle. Harry, however, flared up, choosing to defend his wife. He and Meghan later went on to do an Oprah interview that accused the royal family of racism and negligence regarding Meghan’s suicidal thoughts.

But what added salt to the wound was the way that Harry continued to share private family chats to CBS’ Gayle King, and this prompted the royals to refuse to have “one-on-one” chats with Harry because they couldn’t trust him.

Prince William Can’t Be Alone With His Brother?

“Despite William and Harry coming together this week for the sole cause of commemorating their mother’s legacy, Harry is very much on the outside,” a source told the Mirror.

“They put on a show, did what they had to do to make sure the day went without a hitch and said goodbye,” the source added.
