British royal family news reveals that the reported rift between Prince Harry and his clan is the stuff of legend—a little bit fact, a little bit fiction. What cannot be denied is the manner in which Harry and his wife Meghan have very publicly trashed his family on countless occasions. Truth don’t lie and in the Markle’s case they have defiantly dropped their “truth bombs” ever since they abandoned the monarchy.

But has something good come of all the negativity propagated by Harry and Meghan’s shameless actions?

According to one royal source, the rift between the brothers has served to strengthen the bond between Prince William and his wife Kate the Duchess of Cambridge. According to reports, the rift between brothers William and Harry was ignited by William telling Harry to take his time getting to know the ex game show hostess who would later become his wife.

Harry himself has alluded to the distance between them, telling Oprah Winfrey in a scandalous tell-all sit-down in March, that William is “trapped” within the royal system. He also threw shade at his father and Meghan dragged her own family.

But to hear one royal expert tell it the alleged space between the two brothers has “reinforced” William’s bond with his wife Kate.

An insider told People magazine, “In the last 18 months he [William] hasn’t had Harry as his rock. The disintegration of that relationship has actually brought him and Kate even stronger together. She really is his rock.”

Another source backed up that opinion saying, “If things are right [in a marriage], which they are with them, your crutch to lean on is your partner. There is an inevitability about that.”

Royal Family News – Is Kate William’s Rock?

There is also an inevitability for Meghan’s self-confessed “soul mate” Omid Scobie to insert himself into the debate about what is going on in her life at a given moment. Omid Scobie is the pair’s pet journalist and he croaked about the royal family members to ITV’s This Morning earlier this month. According to him, the “family fractures” are as yet unhealed.

“I wish there was a … you know, we have all experienced family squabbles and so on, but there is always a senior member of the family who clips you round the ear and pulls you all together and says talk! And I haven’t heard that from any source connected to the family that there has been someone who has played that role.”

And there you have it, Scobie conveniently placing the blame on others for not fixing what the Markle’s broke.
