Prince William Likes Holiday Music

William, the Duke of Cambridge revealed on Radio Marsden that his all-time favorite Christmas song is “Feliz Navidad.”

He told the show host: “For this particular chat with you [interviewer] Barry [Alston], I’m gonna say ‘Feliz Navdid’ is my favorite Christmas song because it’s a bit different,” William answered. “I could say Mariah Carey, who I love dearly as well. That’s a good one and obviously there are many others, but I think I’ll probably go with ‘Feliz Navidad.’ It’s a bit more jolly.”

José Feliciano wrote the song “Feliz Navidad” which has been covered by numerous crooners. The song has both English and Spanish lyrics and debuted in 1970, making last year the 50th anniversary of the fun holiday classic.

During the interview Prince William opened up about a lot of holiday related favorites, including his favorite Christmas movie.

He told the show host, “I think generally, for me, bringing the family together at Christmastime is always lovely because we’re quite spread out doing our things a lot of time during the year. So, we get very few moments to actually come together.”

“And when I see my children meet up with my cousins’ children, and they all have a wonderful time playing together. It’s very special. I look forward to that a lot. Obviously, Christmas is a new dynamic when you have children. Suddenly it’s a whole different ballgame of noise and excitement,” he continued. “I’m enjoying the new version of Christmas in my life.”

William shared that he loves to eat sausage and drink wine during the festive period: “I do tend to eat a lot over Christmas.
