At one point in time it was outsiders, like Netflix and its The Crown series, that disparaged the monarchy. Now the insidious shade is coming from inside and the crown has seen nothing like it before.

One TV insider claimed of Netflix and The Crown, “William and other senior royals are incredibly uncomfortable about this drama and livid Harry is now in partnership with the company that’s airing it.”

Prince Harry has a lucrative deal with Netflix and when that news was announced many braced for the subsequent news that he would produce a tell-all about his elite life. That news didn’t materialize but now that he’s writing a bombshell book, the royals must be bracing all over again.

News of the book dropped yesterday and reports indicate that Harry only told his family after he learned that the leak was about to be published. One outlet reported that when an aide to Prince Charles was informed, they muttered, “oh gosh.” In Brit speak that’s the equivalent to ‘God save the queen.’ Someone really should save Her Majesty from the wrath of Harry because at this point he seems intent on destroying her and his birthright.
