Royal Family News: Princess Eugenie Publicizes Her Anti-Slavery Organization

British royal family news shows that Princess Eugenie is in the spotlight again after she and her family shared in a historic royal baptism. This Sunday Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank baptized their son August in a dual ceremony.

Also baptized at the same time was the son of Zara and Mike Tindall. Making the occasion even more joyous, Queen Elizabeth was present to see the babies on their big day.

Reports have emerged that last week Eugenie visited her old school Marlborough College in Wiltshire. She was joined by her fellow co-founder of The Anti-Slavery Collective, Julia de Boinville. The women spoke to the student body about their project and informed them how to be activists like them.

While at the school the pair shared past school photos and they were then posted on the group’s Instagram. Pictures from the day were also posted, to Instagram and captioned, “Last week our co-founders, HRH @princesseugenie and Julia de Boinville, visited their old school Marlborough College to speak to the students about the work we do at The Anti-Slavery Collective and how they too can become activists.”

Princess Eugenie Has Lost Her FIL

It has been even busier for Eugenie than most royal fans knew as it has been reported that Eugenie’s FIL passed last week. Social media has reported that the royal’s father-in-law George Brooksbank died just three days before the christening of his nine-month-old grandson August.

The news of the family’s loss had not been made public before the christening. Today the Brooksbank family acknowledged the news in the Daily Telegraph.

The obituary read in part: “Brooksbank, George. Died on 18th November. Loved all the good things in life but especially his wife, friends, boys, daughters-in-law and grandchildren. Private family cremation, memorial details to be announced.”

Although Brooksbank had been ill for some time, he was able to meet his son’s baby August, who was born in February. It’s been said that the senior Brooksbank caught coronavirus in 2020 and had never fully recovered.
