British royal family news shows that the British publisher being sued by Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex plans to appeal a judge’s ruling in her favor that it invaded her privacy by publishing a letter she wrote to her estranged father.

The former cable actress sued Associated Newspapers for invasion of privacy and copyright infringement over five February 2019 articles in the Mail on Sunday and on the MailOnline.
Last month High Court judge Mark Warby ruled that the publisher had misused her private information and infringed her copyright.
He said that Meghan, “had a reasonable expectation that the contents of the letter would remain private,” and concluded the paper’s publication of large chunks of it was, “manifestly excessive and hence unlawful.”

Associated Newspapers’ lawyer Antony White sought permission to appeal on Tuesday, saying a bid to overturn Warby’s ruling, “would have a real prospect of success.”
Meghan’s lawyers played tit for tat and demanded that the publisher give her the letter and destroy any electronic copies of it.
They also demanded that the judge order the Mail on Sunday to remove the five articles from its website plus run a front-page statement trumpeting her legal victory. Is this the definition of a sore winner?
Royal Family News – Meghan Markle Is Making More Demands
Ian Mill is an attorney for Meghan and he said, “the defendant defiantly continues to do the very acts which the court has held are unlawful.”

He went on to say in a written submission, “The defendant has failed to deliver up copies it has of the letter such that the threat to infringe and further to misuse her private information remains real and, inexplicably, the defendant has still not removed the infringing articles from MailOnline.”
In his ruling last month, the judge said a “limited trial” should be held to decide the “minor” issue of whether Meghan was “the sole author” and lone copyright holder of the letter. It is expected to take place in the fall. In other words while Meghan has claimed to have “won” the lawsuit, it is still far from over.
Meghan was on the cable series Suits as well as a Suitcase Girl on the game show Deal or No Deal. In that role she toted briefcases stuffed with cash, in stilettos and barely there dresses. Her show biz ambitions appeared to bite the dust once she married Prince Charming.

She absolutely mislead the public by claiming victory–the suit is not over yet.
She is a GOLD DIGGER!!!!
I find it upsetting how willing you and so many are to downgrade Meghan. Do none of you remember Diana's interview where she said the same things about being lonely, depressed and suicidal? Do you not remember how angry The Queen was at Diana especially when she spoke about there being 3 people in her bed? There was a similar interview by Oprah with Sarah (Fergie) Ferguson, Prince Andrews wife because her loneliness and lack of friends caused her to shop and spend too much money. So the papers printed stories that made her seem like a gold digger. Andrew was forced to divorce Fergie against his will. "The Firm," rules the business (The Royal image). Even Prince Phillip mentioned them. He was humiliated because he was not going to be allowed to give his family name, not even as a middle name for his children. The Queen had to go ask for permission of The Firm for Prince Phillip to use his family name. He was humiliated. William and Harry did an interview where they talked about finally being allowed to go to therapy concerning Diana's death and their pain, anger and state of depression. House rules: never show negative emotion. It is bad for the family image. The Princes' said they were forced to walk behind their mother's coffin showing no emotion. The Queen was advised to have a funeral after the Queen saw all the flowers left outside for Diana by the British people who loved her.
