Queen Elizabeth was at Windsor Castle instead of at her Sandringham estate where the family traditionally celebrates the holidays, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
According to officers, police responded to a report of a security breach at approximately 8:30 a.m. Thames Valley Police Superintendent Rebecca Mears issued a statement that indicated security protocols were implemented, “within moments of the man entering the grounds.”

The suspect remains in custody. Mears said, “The man has been arrested on suspicion of breach or trespass of a protected site and possession of an offensive weapon. We do not believe there is a wider danger to the public.”
This year the queen and her family did not decamp to Sandringham House in Berkshire, the second year in a row. The plans were scuttled each year due to COVID-19 cases rising and government cautions to remain away from large gatherings.

Royal Family News – The Queen Was Widowed In April
At one point in her speech she said, “For me and my family, even with one familiar laugh missing this year, there will be joy in Christmas, as we have the chance to reminisce, and see anew the wonder of the festive season through the eyes of our young children, of whom we were delighted to welcome four more this year.”
She added, “They teach us all a lesson — just as the Christmas story does — that in the birth of a child, there is a new dawn with endless potential.”

I am happy that HMTQ is safe and will be kept safe, and her security will be ramped up. Although this young crackpot is now in custody, it is still very unsettling. I have an unsettling feeling that he was not acting alone, and that there is definitely "something" going on that we will not, or cannot be told about…….involving the life of HMTQ, the children and the immediate heirs to the throne. And I have suspicions as to where the danger is coming from and to what purpose. (IMHO only!!!). Prayers for Queen Elizabeth….!!!!!
