British royal family news shows that Sarah Ferguson is spilling the Earl Grey to The Telegraph about her late MIL Queen Elizabeth II six months after the monarch’s death.
According to the fiery ex-wife of disgraced Prince Andrew, the regent was pleased as punch that she was around as her reported favorite son dealt with a sex abuse scandal.
Fergie, aka the Duchess of York, was married to the Andrew the Duke of York from 1986 to 1996 yet they still cohabitate.

According to Ferguson, the Queen took it for granted that she would never abandon the man she shares two daughters with: “She knew. I will always be there. Always. Because I love her.”
Fergie didn’t take her relationship with the Queen lightly, saying that she was grateful for, “even a minute of HM’s time.” And she claims that the regent was grateful for her, too: “Because also, during the last three years, her poor son [Prince Andrew] has been going through such a tumultuous time, and I think HM was very relieved I could help her with him, so we became even closer, then.”

Their relationship went beyond gratitude though as Fergie claims her MIL was, “more of a mother to me than my mother.”

One thing emerged from the interview, and that is Fergie’s loyalty to Andrew. Last year he was stripped of his titles and patronages due to settling a sex abuse case against him out of court despite maintaining his innocence. While the public say not be in favor of Andrew, his ex-wife still thinks he’s aces.
She and Andrew have, “an amazing mutual understanding of one another … Also, we both hate confrontation.”
“Perception is… so important. It can make or break someone. And I’m living with someone – at least when I’m in England and lucky enough to be a guest at Royal Lodge – and I see what that perception has done to a very kind man. I really mean that,” she said.
Fergie did not comment on Andrew’s latest headlines, reports that he is offended by the king telling him to downsize and reside at Frogmore Cottage, the home that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle rejected. He has lived at the more posh Royal Lodge since 2003.
