According to the Daily Mail, Princess Eugenie’s husband, Jack Brooksbank is the one with the loose lips. Columnist Richard Eden claims that the royal in-law has revealed, “the existence of a hidden passage beneath London’s streets.” Apparently the royals use it to remain discrete and hidden from prying paparazzi eyes!

Eden spills that, “over the years, a few enterprising royals clearly took matters into their own hands, creating a way to discretely go out for a drink. The solution? A secret tunnel to a London bar.”
“There is one to Dukes Bar from St. James’s Palace,” Brooksbank told Eden. “I haven’t used it yet, but I’d love to check it out.”
Oh to be a fly on the wall when the palace gets wind that this secret, long-rumored but never divulged, has now been verified. What was Brooksbank thinking?
Eden writes, “St James’s Palace used to be the monarch’s residence, prior to Buckingham Palace. It is now the home of a number of royal family members, including Princess Anne, Princess Alexandra, and, Eugenie’s sister, Princess Beatrice. Eugenie even lived at St. James’s for a bit, before moving to Kensington Palace, where she and Jack currently reside.”

If this all sounds very James Bond-ish, it should! Eden adds, “Dukes Bar, where the secret passage leads, is a renowned cocktail bar located within Dukes Hotel in Mayfair. The elegant spot is famous for their martinis and, legend has it, that James Bond author Ian Fleming was inspired by the bar to choose a medium dry martini as Bond’s signature drink and coined the phrase “shaken not stirred.”
Brooksbank is no stranger to controversy. This summer he made headlines for cavorting with bikini clad models on a yacht while Eugenie was at home tending to their first child.

He works in the liquor industry as a brand ambassador for Casamigos tequila, the label owned by George Clooney. Before he and Eugenie married he was the general manager of Mahiki, a nightclub in Mayfair. While Eugenie stayed silent about the scandal, her mother Sarah Ferguson defended her SIL saying his cavorting was all in a day’s work!
