Royal Family news reveals that Sharon Osbourne is back at Meghan Markle, this time to accuse her of only befriending people whose wealth is “over a certain bank balance.” The 70-year-old TV personality was permanently suspended from CBS’s “The Talk” in 2021 after getting in a row over racism with fellow panelist Sheryl Underwood that stemmed from a discussion over the Duchess of Sussex.

After the release of her documentary series “Sharon Osbourne: To Hell and Back” which covers the aftermath of that incident, Osbourne reportedly told Newsweek that she stands by her views about Meghan Markle who left the UK with husband Prince Harry after quitting the Royal family back in 2020.

According to Newsweek, Osbourne said she’d never met Markle, “But she mixes with the royalty of showbiz, put it that way… I think that you have to be over a certain bank balance for her to talk to you.

“It’s all the wealthiest of the [wealthy] in the industry that she hangs out with. And there’s nothing wrong with that at all. God bless you. But she does tell some porky pies [lies]. Put it this way, she’s surrounded by very, very, like how can I do this politely? It’s the cream of the cream in Hollywood music, film, everything she’s surrounded by.”

She went on to accuse the Duchess of Sussex of having written or texted “to people that say bad things about her. It’s like, who the f*** are you to tell me? She’s hardly a victim.”

Sharon Osbourne’s Meghan Markle Problem

When Osbourne got into her tiff with Underwood, she was reportedly defending her friend Piers Morgan, who said in March 2021 that he didn’t believe a word of Markle’s Oprah Winfrey interview.

In that interview, Meghan talked of having suicidal thoughts before stepping down as a working royal. She told Winfrey that an unnamed royal had expressed “concerns” about the complexion of her unborn baby. “I very much feel like I’m about to be put in the electric chair because I have a friend, who many people think is a racist, so that makes me a racist?” Osbourne said to Underwood before asking her to “educate” her.
