British royal family news shows that Meghan Markle issued a, “royal thank-you,” to someone for saying he didn’t sleep with her. Ew.

According to Simon Rex, he actually heard from Meghan who thanked him for allegedly turning down unsavory bribes, according to Fox News. The actor claims more than one UK tabloid offered him, “$70,000 to say he slept with Meghan Markle, who appeared alongside him in a 2005 episode of the sitcom “Cuts.”

The actor said that his off-screen interaction with Meghan was purely platonic. “I was broke as f—!” Rex told The Guardian. “I really needed the money. But I’ll be on food stamps before I do that.”

Heh went on to say that after he turned down the offers, the Duchess of Sussex wrote him a thank-you letter. “She said, ‘It’s nice to know there are still good people,’” said Rex. He went on to frame and mount the note in his California home.

It’s not the first time the actor dished about the alleged situation. He clacked about it in March 2020 on the “Hollywood Raw” podcast, where he also went on, “about the offers he received to share false stories about the 40-year-old solely because they worked together on a show.”

“Nothing happened,” he stressed to the outlet, apparently getting a lot of mileage out of his allegations of resisting payoffs for the ex game show hostess. “We never even kissed. It was just, like, we hung out once in a very non-datey way. She was just someone I had met on a TV show and we got lunch. That was the extent of it.” He added the detail that, “he turned down the $70,000 offer because it ‘didn’t feel right lying.’”

Markle married Britain’s Prince Harry in May 2018 at Windsor Castle in a lavish taxpayer funded wedding that Meghan claimed was invalid. She made the claim during her cringe Oprah interview, alleging that the Archbishop of Canterbury married the pair in the backyard before the public wedding. The Archbishop politely called her a liar.
