Thomas Jr. has been kind enough to share his opinions on Meghan during his stint as a houseguest on this season of Australia’s “Big Brother VIP” and even before stardom struck. Junior was generous with his opinions even before Meghan snagged Prince Harry. He was only looking out for his potential BIL when he generously shared his thoughts about her in a letter, trying to warn Harry off marrying his sister.

In it he scorched her for not inviting anyone from her father’s side of her family to the wedding and he’s gone so far as to say, “Being associated with Meghan has nearly destroyed me.” He told Australian magazine New Idea, “I am homeless and could have been under a bridge with a cardboard sign begging for money but thankfully my mum has taken me in. Meghan could have helped me or got someone else at the palace to do so.”

According to In Touch, Thomas’ letter to Prince Harry urged him to dump Meghan: “As more time passes to your royal wedding, it became very clear that this is the biggest mistake in royal wedding history. Meghan Markle is obviously not the right woman for you.”

Why does he think Harry would be throwing his life down the toilet by marrying Meghan? He thinks Meghan is a, “jaded, shallow, conceited woman that will make a joke of you and the royal family heritage.” Is he wrong?

Given Thomas Markle Jr.’s scathing indictment of his sister, it comes as a surprise to hear that he may have changed his tune about her—could it be he’s having second thoughts about trashing her the way she trashes the rest of her family?

According to The Independent, Thomas read to his housemates a letter he’d written saying that he was, “sorry from the bottom of my heart” for the “awful, mean letter” he wrote. Thomas went on to read another letter on “Big Brother VIP” apologizing for the missive he wrote to Prince Harry prior to his becoming part of the extended Markle clan.

According to Thomas, “I want both of you to know it did not come from the real person that I am but came from a very dark and hurt part of my heart … I am not a mean person at all, and I have more love inside me to give than anything.”

He simply lashed out after Meghan called him a “distant” family member, he says. It would seem the ball is in Meghan’s court. Maybe she and Thomas can hash things out with Oprah Winfrey as the referee?
