Royal Family News: Thomas Markle Sends His Love To Baby Lilibet

British royal family news shows that Meghan Markle’s estranged father Thomas Markle took the high road once again by congratulating his daughter on the arrival of her second child. He has not been allowed to meet the first, and many royal watchers fear he will never be allowed access to the second.

Nonetheless today he sent his, “love and best wishes,” to the daughter who lives just a few hours away but she might as well be on Mars for all the compassion she shows him.

The retired Hollywood lighting director lives in Mexico and reportedly has not been spoken to by Markle since her VIP wedding to Prince Harry. That was three years and two grandchildren ago and based on Meghan’s lawsuit, in which Thomas is expected to testify, that isn’t about to change anytime soon.

Thomas Markle, who has not met Harry either, said, “I am very pleased with the announcement of the safe and healthy delivery of my new granddaughter, and I wish her and her mother all my love and best wishes.”

Harry’s family, who both Meghan and Harry have similarly trashed, likewise said they are “delighted” at the news.

Thomas Markle Takes The High Road

What else can the royal family say? They cannot match Harry and Meghan tit for tat in their war of words against the monarchy. They can’t very well ask publicly, ‘why did you name your daughter after the grandmother you have ravaged in the media,’ can they?

Actually, they can but they won’t. They have far more maturity, wisdom, and compunction than Harry who proudly boasts he is a product of his father’s and the queen’s bad parenting, all the while roasting them. Harry proclaiming his elders to be inferior parents while peddling himself as the poster boy for Parent of the Year says it all.

This is the actual Buckingham Palace statement, made on behalf of the actual royals, the Queen, Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge: “The Queen, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been informed and are delighted with the news of the birth of a daughter for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”

A tweet from Kate and William’s Kensington Royal account also congratulated Harry, Meghan, and Archie on the “happy news of the arrival of baby Lili.”
