British royal family news shows that Prince William and Kate Middleton have been credited with saving the monarchy from the brink of disaster over the course of the last two scandal-ridden years. First there was Megxit, and in February disgraced Prince Andrew paid off a sex abuse accuser.
Harry, Meghan and Andrew have rained down scandal and disgrace in spades and yet the monarchy is stronger than ever, with the queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June one of its brightest moments. The event celebrates her 70-year reign and the Cambridge’s are sure to take center stage.
While Prince William and Kate are in favor, Harry, Meghan (who thus far has refused to see her father in the hospital) and Andrew have been told they are not welcome. How did this amazing state of affairs come to be?

Ironically, the couple were thought by some to be nothing more than a passing fad. They met in college, St. Andrews, in Scotland. One royal watcher claims that no one thought they would last.
Royal biographer Andrew Morton claims that many palace insiders were sure the relationship would end after graduation.
He told OK! magazine, “In the beginning, nobody expected for a second that the university romance with Catherine and William would continue for any time after they graduated, like most college romances which disintegrate under the intense scrutiny of jobs and geography.”

Morton added, “After he left college, William was doing all kinds of jobs, to get a sense of the Britain he will take over. Catherine was left to go her own way, but she survived.”
Royal expert Kinsey Schofield told Express that despite a brief break-up palace insiders, “knew she was a good girl, they knew she wasn’t talking to the media’ and her ‘stoic’ nature made Kate a ‘no-brainer’ when it came to taking on such an important future role in the royal family.”
Since then the lovely and charming Catherine Duchess of Cambridge has cemented her place in the country’s future by becoming one of the most influential royals ever, according to sources. Indeed, as queen consort, she, “holds the future of the monarchy in her hands.”
