Royal Family to ‘Reinvent’ Themselves After Disastrous Year Full of Scandals

The Royal Family has gone through some good times during the past year. However, there have also been some bad times. Prince Andrew’s scandal regarding his friendship with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was one of them. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have gone through public scrutiny, especially since the petition circulated demanding their royal titles be stripped. It is teased that the family plans to reinvent themselves.

According to Express, the younger generation of the Royal Family is rumored to be going through a bit of a division. While some claim Prince William and Prince Harry are just leading separate lives, others think there is a serious rift between the brothers. The gossip seemed to get worse when Harry admitted he and his brother were on different paths.

Royals news indicates that there is still public scrutiny over Meghan Markle. First, Prince Harry and his bride decided not to have Archie Harrison publicly christened, but opted for a private one. Then, they spent millions of public funds renovating their home. More recently, residents of Sussex asked the council to strip them of their royal titles. However, it is determined that the only person who can do that is the Crown, since Queen Elizabeth was the one who issued the titles in the first place.

Perhaps the most scandalous news was Prince Andrew’s interview with BBC earlier this year. He talked about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, the multi-millionaire sex offender who died from suicide a few months ago.

Soon after the interview aired, Prince Andrew withdrew from the limelight and backed away from his royal duties.

Royal Family to Reinvent Themselves

The family is resilient and while the past year was “dreadful” they plan on making next year a good one.
